History

History of Company

Connecting Families Visitation was created in July of 2015. Founder and CEO Carrie Lewis has worked the field for several years now. She first started working in this service during her college career, while attending Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and Central Washington University, by taking a Case Aide position and completion of a Internship at Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) from the years of 2010 to 2013.

After leaving DSHS, she went to go work for a private agency contracted with DSHS for visitation services, as regular employee and held a supervisor position, then in 2015 she became a subcontractor. Carrie found that she loved providing this type of service and aspired to have her own business. That is when Connecting Families Visitation was created, with the hope that it can help build health relationships between parents and children regardless of the family dynamics.
